Our audience

GRF's audience is everyone who listens to radio.

Radio audiences are hugely loyal to the stations they listen to - research suggests that two-thirds of people only ever listen to one or two stations.

In Britain and Ireland, the vast majority of these listeners listen to their local commercial radio station or to BBC local and network stations.

GRF's main role is to produce programes which meet these listeners where they are.

So GRF's programme production for Britain and Ireland is focused on supplying programmes to mainstream commercial and BBC stations because this is where the audience is.

Internationally, the English language services of Christian short wave and satellite stations - such as Trans World Radio and FEBA - often perform a much wider role and GRF's international programme production responds to this different need.
